With permission we would like to share the story of one of our patients. Brent Wilson's life went from being rambunctious and energy-driven to barely being able to function. His enthusiasm for racing his bike just quit. After more than twenty trips to doctor's offices and many prescriptions later, he was forced to settled on his new run-down-with-no energy-to-spare self. There was just enough energy to function and none left for fun.
Fast forward twenty years when his continued complaints of brain fog, weight gain, chronic fatigue, memory loss, and a general lack of zest fell on the ears of a caring friend.
