  • Integrative medicine

Chelcee started her journey in the medical field working with developmentally disabled children. As she worked with these children, she started to see patterns between nutritional deficiencies and behaviors resulting in a decline in their cognitive abilities.

These patterns led Chelcee to a lifelong career of working with providers to find better ways to treat, prevent, and cure a range of diseases - from common diagnoses to more advanced chronic diseases and cancers.
Her passion is to help patients receive the best quality care with the most up-to-date therapies.

Epigenetics has been one of the driving reasons for Chelcee to open her own advanced medical clinic. Chelcee's mother has several gene misspellings that have led to her being severally ill for over 30 years. After opening her own clinic, she was able to provide a space for regenerative therapies that have dramatically increased the quality of her mother's life.

Chelcee is extremely passionate about helping patients prevent chronic illness while bringing a better quality of life to those who already have comorbidities.

Dr. Steven Hulse, DC

Dr. Steven Hulse is a Southeast Idaho native who grew up in Mud Lake, Idaho. He is into sports and the outdoors. While in High School and his undergraduate education, he learned how important it is to be aligned and functioning at his highest level. This allowed him to excel in education and sports. He graduated at the top of his class with a focus in Sports chiropractics, Pediatric, and Perinatal Chiropractic care.

Dr. Hulse has been a chiropractor in the Blackfoot area for about a year. He did a preceptorship for a year in Idaho Falls and then purchased Advanced Integrated Medical Center in Blackfoot, Idaho after working with Dr. Stevens. He studied at Brigham Young University-Idaho and earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology and another bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine at the University of Idaho. Dr. Hulse later moved to the San Francisco Bay Area where he earned his doctorate degree at Life West.

While in California, he pursued further education in Pediatrics, Pregnancy, as well as Sports Chiropractic and is working to be certified with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). That certification makes him one of the only Pediatric and Pregnancy certified chiropractors in all of Eastern Idaho. The sports aspect of his degree has proven to be essential when working with all kinds of children, adults, and athletes which brings about a new approach to adjusting the body.

While deciding on his future career, he visited different schools and spoke with various Chiropractors to help him make his decision. Ultimately, he decided that being a chiropractor was the path he wanted to take so that he could better serve those around him.

Dr. Hulse’s favorite aspect of his career is having the ability to interact with all kinds of people. This allows him to be able to see people for who they really are, while also being able to take care of their health concerns. He enjoys being himself because he likes to have a good time, yet he is professional with his patients while being casual at the same time. He wants everyone to see that he is human and likes to have fun but truly cares about getting the results they want to see.

He truly cares about people and wants the best for them. He gives his full attention to detail and listens to address their concerns. While doing this, he will guide his patients in deciding the best course of action to get back their quality of life. This includes a better range of motion through their spine, connecting their nervous system and body for that brain-body connection, and ultimately achieving a pain-free life. Dr. Hulse desires to help his patients perform their best and accomplish personal and team goals.

Kristine May, NTP

Kristine May, BSHS, FNTP is a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, receiving her certification through the Nutritional Therapy Association based out of Seattle, WA.  She has a Bachelor of Science in Health Science, as well as an Associate’s degree in Health Information Technology.  She worked for six years at the West Clinic, a world-renowned integrative wellness clinic where she worked as a Nutritional Therapist and Practice Manager.  With a history of a decade of nutritional healing experience and coaching, she has broadened her scope once more. Believing in continual education, she is currently studying emotional mastery and mindfulness and believes the mind/body connection is so crucial to optimal health and healing.

As one who has personal experience with health challenges, Kristine understands the frustrations and confusion around supporting the body nutritionally.  There are differing opinions everywhere you turn in regards to how to best fuel the body.  There is a reason for this…. No two bodies are the same.  We are all biologically individual beings.  What works for you, doesn’t necessarily work for all.  This is a main reason why many don’t experience relief when following routine diet plans or food pyramid recommendations.  Kristine believes in uniquely tailoring dietary guidance to best support each client’s needs.

Having complete confidence in nutrition and its ability to transform our bodies, Kristine knows that education is the key.  As she works together with her clients, they gain a better understanding of how food choices influence the body.  Nutritional deficiencies may be causing symptoms or systemic dysfunction.  As she works to foundationally support her clients, symptoms many times improve or dissipate.  Through this transformation, clients not only feel healthier, but also develop healthy habits that can last a lifetime.  This wealth of knowledge continues to bless you as long as you let it.

Kristine enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.  She loves watching her children learn and grow, and she is always their largest supporter at all their competitive events.  Motherhood is her greatest calling and she values it above all else.  Traveling and experiencing other cultures is of great importance to Kristine.  This may have stemmed from her upbringing.  She has lived in five different states and has visited over thirty.  She hopes to someday travel internationally and loves participating in relief and charity efforts.  The greatest experiences of her life thus far have come through serving others.

Kristine feels appreciation for her ability to have a hand in others’ transformation and takes great pride in the insight she can provide others.  She loves the relationships she forms with team members and clients alike.  Kristine knows that the future is bright for this incredible new Integrative Wellness Center and is eager to be a part of it all!
